Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Manager to lead shop maintenance activities in Dubai, ensuring compliance with EASA P.145 and internal standards. You will coach a team of technicians, drive training and competency programs, and improve maintenance processes to optimize flow through the On Wing Support shop.

The role requires strong people leadership, collaboration across departments, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

Experience leading a maintenance team in an aviation or similar high-safety environment.
Ability to coach and develop technicians to improve standards.
Familiarity with EASA P.145 requirements or equivalent.
Experience implementing SQDIP and FLIGHT DECK principles.

Responsibilities

Lead continuous coaching of maintenance staff to raise standards.
Ensure procedures and standards are followed for Quick Turns and shop visits.
Support Operations Leader on training and competency assessment processes.
Introduce SQDIP escalation path using FLIGHT DECK principles; reduce waste.
Coordinate with internal/external departments to improve engine flow through OWS shop.
Oversee overtime in collaboration with Operations Leader.
Support Quality with investigations; provide technical feedback and root-cause guidance.
Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and maintenance data.
Ensure workmanship quality complies with EASA and internal standards.
Lead Daily Management meetings to ensure SQDIP compliance.
