Job summary

Oivan Group Oy is seeking an Intermediate Kubernetes Engineer to join our Dubai team. You will provide on-site operational support for Rancher-managed Kubernetes platforms and help customer teams become proficient in using Rancher and RKE2.

You will work directly with clients on mission-critical environments, performing health checks, node/workload management, RBAC governance, upgrades, and incident response while ensuring security baselines and documentation are kept up to date.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT experience with 2+ years operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong practical experience with Rancher and RKE2.
• Solid Kubernetes troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.
• Ability to transfer knowledge and coach teams on Rancher usage and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site operational support for Rancher-managed Kubernetes clusters at the customer's premises.
• Carry out day-to-day operations: cluster health checks, node/workload management, and RBAC administration.
• Troubleshoot platform issues (networking, storage, DNS, ingress) and document findings.
• Assist with upgrades and maintenance of Kubernetes, RKE2, and Rancher upgrades.
• Create runbooks and platform documentation; work with customer and internal teams.
