Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants is seeking an Accountant - Oil & Gas in Abu Dhabi to maintain financial records, manage day-to-day accounting, and support cash flow and tax compliance. The role covers trading, procurement, supply and service activities with timely financial reporting and strict documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, with ACCA/CMA/CPA qualifications as an advantage and 3–5 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas sector or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CMA, CPA) advantageous.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in oil & gas, trading or procurement.
• Experience with UAE VAT and corporate tax considerations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and post journals, accruals, prepayments and adjustments.
• Maintain general ledger, AP, AR, and fixed asset registers; perform reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and reporting.
• Process supplier invoices, purchase orders and payment vouchers; reconcile with docs.
• Monitor receivables and payables; follow up on overdue items and disputes.
• Record oil & gas trading, procurement, and project costs; monitor profitability.
