Job summary

Orbit International Survey Services LLC (Orbit ISS) in the UAE is seeking a QA/QC Coordinator & Inspector to lead QA/QC activities across Oil & Gas, engineering, marine and industrial projects. This hands-on hybrid role combines QA/QC coordination, site inspections, TPI, and quality documentation with client/vendor coordination and manpower support.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, ITPs and QMS requirements, and will assist in inspector mobilization,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
Strong professional experience in QA/QC, Inspection, TPI, Oil & Gas, Engineering, Marine, or Industrial Services.
Proven experience in both QA/QC coordination and hands-on inspection.
Strong knowledge of ITP, PQP, NCR, CAPA, QMS, audits, and quality documentation.
Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Knowledge of Vendor Inspection and Third-Party Inspection processes.
Familiarity with DNV and ABS requirements is preferred.
Technical understanding of NDT, welding inspection, PQR, WQT/WPQ, PAUT, AUT, and welding traceability.
Experience in technical recruitment, interviewing, and competency assessment of QA/QC and inspection personnel.
Strong coordination skills with clients, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams.
Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
Ability and willingness to travel to project sites within the UAE and, where required, internationally.

Responsibilities

Coordinate QA/QC activities, inspectors, engineers, and technical teams.
Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs, and client requirements.
Prepare, review, and manage ITPs, PQPs, inspection checklists, NCRs, CAPA, and QMS documentation.
Coordinate hold points, witness points, testing, inspections, and final acceptance activities.
Identify quality issues and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor NCRs, observations, punch lists, corrective actions, and close-outs.
Maintain inspection records, test reports, material documentation, calibration records, and quality dossiers.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Lead/Support Third-Party Inspection (TPI) activities and inspector mobilization.
Coordinate inspection manpower, scheduling, resource allocation, and deployment.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams.
Support technical activities involving NDT methods and welding traceability.
Review inspection documentation for completeness and traceability.
