Job summary

NMDC Energy in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Marine Surveyor to conduct vessel condition surveys, pre-vetting checks, and ensure ADNOC compliance. You will oversee vessel preparations, advise on close-out observations, and perform on-hire spot checks.

The role requires a Master Mariner Class 1 – Unlimited, Chief Officer COC, and 8+ years in similar roles, with deep knowledge of STCW/ISM/IMO/SOLAS/MARPOL and ADNOC client requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in marine surveys/related roles.
• Master Mariner Class 1 – Unlimited required.
• Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (COC) required.
• Limited Master’s License may be considered for suitable ADNOC-experienced candidates.
• Strong knowledge of STCW, ISM, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Valid Master Mariner Class 1 – Unlimited
• Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (COC).
• Limited Master’s License may be considered for candidates with extensive ADNOC field and project vessel experience.
• Strong knowledge of STCW, ISM, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, flag-state and client requirements.
