Job summary

A global specialist service company in the United Arab Emirates seeks an Ad-Hoc Offshore Crane Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance of offshore cranes and lifting equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of offshore experience, including supervisory roles, and will be responsible for managing maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing leadership in both offshore and onshore settings. Flexible working hours are a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years offshore experience with at least 2 in a supervisory role.
• Experience in strip down and rebuild of winches, motors, and pumps.
• Basic IT Skills – Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for offshore equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of crane components to ensure compliance.
• Lead and manage workshop teams during repairs and overhauls.

Leadership and team management

Troubleshooting and problem-solving

Crane maintenance and inspections

Understanding of hydraulic and maintenance drawings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering (preferred)

Tools

Maintenance management systems (CMMS)
