Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Nutrition, Nutritional Science or closely related subject.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based nutrition and weight management.
• Experience providing nutritional advice to patients or clients.
• Excellent communication and practical, supportive advice.
• Understanding of professional boundaries and escalation protocols.
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Patient-centred approach within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition and lifestyle consultations.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Nutritionist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team, supporting patients using our online weight-management service.

You will provide practical, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle support, helping patients build sustainable habits alongside their medical treatment. You will work closely with prescribers and the wider clinical team to deliver a safe, supportive and patient-centred experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition and lifestyle consultations
• Develop personalised, evidence-based nutritional recommendations
• Support patients throughout their weight-management journey, including those using weight-loss medication
• Monitor progress and help patients develop sustainable dietary and lifestyle habits
• Identify nutritional or clinical concerns and escalated appropriately to the clinical team
• Maintain accurate and appropriate patient records
• Work collaboratively with doctors, pharmacists, prescribers and other healthcare professionals
• Contribute to patient education, clinical pathways and continuous service improvement

What We Require

• Degree-level qualification in Nutrition, Nutritional Science or a closely related subject
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based nutrition and healthy weight management
• Experience providing nutritional advice directly to patients or clients
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide practical, supportive advice
• Good understanding of professional boundaries and when a patient should be referred or escalated to another healthcare professional
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
• A patient-centred approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Our ideal candidate may also have:

• AfN registration as an ANutr or RNutr
• Experience working within weight management, obesity or metabolic health
• Experience supporting patients taking GLP-1 or other weight-management medications
• Previous experience within an online clinic, digital health or telemedicine environment
• Experience working alongside doctors, pharmacists, dietitians or independent prescribers
• Knowledge of NICE guidance relating to obesity and weight management
• Understanding of disordered eating and eating-disorder risk
• Experience with clinical audits, patient education or quality-improvement projects
• An interest in helping develop new digital approaches to nutritional and weight-management care
