About You

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Lead and manage the overall day-to-day academic and operational functions of the Early Childhood Centre including delivering the vision of the group; maximising the number of children on roll in the various programmes; recruitment, retention and development of staff; overseeing day-to-day financial systems.
  • Develop and deliver a balanced EYFS /IPC curriculum, underpinned by developmentally appropriate play-based activities, Reggio Emilia and Curiosity Approach enriched by Fortes’ Accelerated Learning programmes.
  • Ensure that the premises are maintained at the highest quality standards and are compliant with the regulations of the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), Ministry of Health (MOH), Sharjah Municipality (SM), and other government authorities.

The successful candidate will have

  • A bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education or professional certification i.e. Level 5 vocational qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Early Childhood setting.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of childcare requirements and regulations and previous success in managing an Early Childhood Centre.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and an outstanding work ethic.
