Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide treatments such as injections, immunizations or dressings.
• Prepare patients for examinations or treatments by taking vital signs or explaining procedures.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians or allowed by law.
• Develop patient care plans that specify which treatments should be administered at specific times.
• Provide support and advice to patients regarding lifestyle changes that promote wellness and prevent disease.
• Document detailed reports on the condition of the patient during visits or hospital stays.
