Job summary

Eaton is seeking an NPI Procurement Project Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead end-to-end supply chain activities for complex Engineer-to-Order projects, ensuring supplier readiness, cost competitiveness, and timely industrialization. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and logistics to drive cost reduction, manage BOMs and supplier risks, and ensure smooth handover to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of Supply Chain experience in procurement, sourcing, or planning.
• At least 4 years in sourcing, supplier management, escalation, and shortage mitigation.
• Experience with NPI, product launches, industrial transfers, or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems, Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Supply Chain activities for complex NPI projects from development to serial production.
• Translate engineering and customer requirements into sourcing and supply chain strategies.
• Develop sourcing strategies and coordinate supplier qualification and launch readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Logistics, Manufacturing, and GPO teams to meet cost, quality, delivery goals.
• Manage BOMs, supplier shortages, engineering changes, and supply chain risks.
• Drive supplier engagement, issue resolution, and risk mitigation during NPI projects.
• Support handover to production procurement and stabilize supply chain post-launch.
