Job summary

NESSCO - Telecoms System Integration (TSI) is seeking a Network Engineer to design and deploy robust networks for clients in Dubai. You will work with project engineering and security teams to ensure efficient and secure network operations, including routers, switches, firewalls, and cloud connectivity.

The role requires 3–5+ years in network design/architecture, proficiency with Cisco/Juniper/Aruba hardware, and familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, JNCIE or similar preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in network design/architecture or equivalent enterprise networking background.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable network architectures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, cloud, etc.).
• Produce detailed network diagrams, schematics, and documentation.
• Evaluate network hardware/software and make recommendations based on business needs.
• Collaborate with network operations and security teams to ensure security/compliance.
• Configure and test networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Develop and maintain network standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to design, performance, and integration.
• Support pre-sales with technical guidance and network designs for bids/proposals.
• This position may require periodic domestic or international travel.

Role

As a Network Engineer,you will work closely with the project engineering and security teams to design and implement networks for our clients and projects.You will be responsible for ensuring the network infrastructure functions efficiently, securely, and reliably, supporting the projects communication and data exchange needs.This includes tasks like configuring routers and switches, wireless devices, setting up firewalls, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing security protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and resilient network architectures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, cloud, etc.).
• Produce detailed network diagrams, schematics, and documentation.
• Evaluate network hardware and software and make recommendations based on technical and business needs.
• Collaborate with network operations and security teams to ensure compliance with security protocols and business continuity.
• Implement configuration, and testing of networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers with end client.
• Develop and maintain network standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to design, performance, and integration.
• Support pre-sales by providing technical guidance and network designs for bids or proposals.
• This position my require periodic domestic or international travel.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, JNCIE, or similar preferred.

Experience

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, etc.).
• Proven experience in network design and architecture (typically 3–5+ years).
• Experience with enterprise-level hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Proficient in network analysis and simulation tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, GNS3).
