Job summary

Staff Connect UAE is seeking a senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networks while supporting cybersecurity needs. The ideal candidate will manage switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and related security controls across complex IT environments.

Responsibilities include designing high-availability networks, performing upgrades, documenting architecture, and guiding stakeholders on security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Network Eng or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network infrastructure projects.
• Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and VPN.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network devices.
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues.
• Maintain LAN/WAN/WLAN connectivity and secure VPN access.
• Configure firewalls and enforce security policies.
• Create network documentation and diagrams.

Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, support Cyber Security (if required). The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and enterprise networking environments, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal network performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Implement and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN connectivity.
• Ensure network security through firewall configuration, access controls, and security best practices.
• Perform network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support business applications and services.
• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for network outages and performance issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATION - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field

WORK EXPERIENCE - 6+ years of experience in Network Infrastructure projects.
