DXC Technology in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) is seeking an infrastructure professional to support the design, implementation, and optimization of infrastructure solutions under guidance. You will collaborate with architects on projects and initiatives while monitoring performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of infrastructure components.

You will stay updated on emerging technologies, assist in basic troubleshooting, and work with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with at least 2+ years in a similar role in infrastructure architecture or related roles.
• Basic understanding of infrastructure platforms, virtualization, and network concepts.
• A strong interest in infrastructure architecture and technology with a willingness to learn and develop skills.

Job Description:Essential Job Functions: • Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of infrastructure solutions, under the guidance of senior team members. • Collaborate with experienced architects to contribute to infrastructure projects and initiatives. • Monitor and ensure the performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of infrastructure components. • Learn and receive guidance from senior team members, actively seeking opportunities to grow. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives. • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends. • Assist in basic troubleshooting and problem resolution. • Follow established infrastructure standards and best practices.Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience • Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role years of relevant work experience in infrastructure architecture or related roles • Basic understanding of infrastructure platforms, virtualization, and network concepts • A strong interest in infrastructure architecture and technology • Willingness to learn and develop skills • Good interpersonal and communication abilities • Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry and technology Other Qualifications: • Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus • Relevant certifications (i.e., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) a plus • Basic scripting and automation skills using tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python a plusAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
