Overview
The Mystery Shopper (Building Inspections) is an essential contributor to upholding our brand consistency and ensuring operational excellence through surprise building inspections. This role plays a pivotal part in aligning with our corporate branding standards, embodying Kaizen's continuous improvement philosophy, and meeting customer experience goals. By delivering unbiased evaluations, you will drive service enhancements, ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and foster a culture centered on quality and ongoing improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Evaluation
- Conduct spontaneous mystery inspections at KAIZEN-managed properties.
- Evaluate the property’s physical condition, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with branding requirements.
- Assess staff professionalism, service delivery, and the quality of customer interactions.
- Review signage, uniforms, front desk interactions, and building overall presentation according to Branding Guidelines.
- Compliance & Quality Monitoring
- Assess adherence to Kaizen Quality Standards.
- Identify any deviations from established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Document findings in an objective manner, including photographs, scores, and comments.
- Reporting & Feedback
- Compile comprehensive inspection reports featuring ratings and observations.
- Highlight areas that require corrective actions and opportunities for improvement.
- Benchmarking & Brand Alignment
- Ensure consistent reflection of corporate identity across all properties and touchpoints.
- Participate in quarterly assessments of branding integrity and Kaizen performance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in property/facility management, hospitality, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building operations, property standards, and customer experience.
- Detail-oriented with excellent observational and analytical skills.
- Experience in building inspection, facility management, quality assurance, mystery shopping, or customer service is a plus.
- Skilled in report writing, evaluation tools, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with on-site staff.
- Able to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
- Flexible to conduct visits at different times and locations.
- Valid UAE driving license with personal vehicle; immediate availability.
- Knowledge of cleanliness, safety, maintenance, accessibility, and building compliance standards is an advantage.
