The Opportunity

RGG Capital is seeking an exceptional Deputy Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to serve as a senior partner in the firm’s investment leadership. This individual will report directly to the CIO and CEO and will help architect and manage a global, multi-asset portfolio. The Position

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sophisticated investment strategies across multiple asset classes, including public and private markets, with a focus on driving superior long-term returns.
• Design and maintain comprehensive risk management frameworks that ensure appropriate oversight while optimizing performance in volatile market conditions.
• Lead advanced quantitative research projects in areas such as equities, credit, and options to support investment decision-making.
• Partner with the CIO on strategic asset allocation, investment committee preparation, and high-impact capital deployment decisions.
• Produce sophisticated performance and risk analytics to inform strategic portfolio management and executive communication.
• Foster a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement; mentor junior investment professionals and lead technical skill development.
• Drive innovation through the use of advanced tools including Bloomberg, Barra / Axioma, Python-based analytics, and proprietary models.
• Support investment policy development and implement best practices in portfolio governance, oversight, and reporting.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 10+ years of investment management experience, ideally with a track record in hedge funds, family offices, or institutional portfolios.
• Advanced academic background, ideally a Master’s or PhD in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution.
• Deep technical expertise in multi-asset investing, with demonstrable experience in equities, credit, and options.
• Advanced programming capabilities in Python required; familiarity with Java or C# a plus.
• Strong background in building and applying sophisticated risk management frameworks.
• Exceptional Excel modeling skills; experience with financial systems such as Bloomberg and risk platforms such as Barra or Axioma.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills; comfortable working directly with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
• Experience operating in global markets and across jurisdictions; knowledge of emerging markets is advantageous.

Preferred Credentials :

• Professional designations such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA.
• Understanding of cross-border regulatory environments and offshore investment structures.

Compensation :

A highly competitive, tax-free compensation package will be offered and includes :

• Base salary up to 85,000 AED / month
• Annual discretionary bonus of up to 100% based on performance
• Comprehensive relocation support including visa sponsorship, flights, and temporary accommodation

Final offer will be commensurate with experience and demonstrated capabilities.
