Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Modern Workplace Solutions Architect to design and govern secure, scalable enterprise workplace solutions for a major transformation programme in the UAE. The role spans architecture, transformation planning, solution consulting, and stakeholder advisory across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, Windows and Linux environments, and Digital Employee Experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and governing enterprise Modern Workplace solutions.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Exchange Online and on-premises.
• Hands-on architecture experience with Ivanti Unified Endpoint Management and on-premises endpoint management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Red Hat Linux endpoints.
• Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Microsoft Defender, and endpoint security.
• Experience delivering workplace transformation and migration programmes.
• Understanding of service desk and field support operating models.
• Experience with workplace analytics, device intelligence, automation, and Digital Employee Experience solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Transformation: Design end-to-end Modern Workplace architectures across collaboration, endpoints, identity, security, service desk, and field support.
• Define target-state architectures, transformation roadmaps, migration strategies, and transition plans.
• Establish architectural standards, governance frameworks, and reference designs.
• Provide technical oversight throughout design, implementation, migration, and service transition.
• Lead discovery workshops and assess workplace maturity; translate requirements into practical recommendations.

Function: Modern Workplace – Support Services / Service Desk

We are seeking a Modern Workplace Architect to design and govern secure, scalable enterprise workplace solutions for a major transformation programme.

This role combines technical architecture, transformation planning, solution consulting, and stakeholder advisory responsibilities across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, Windows and Linux environments, collaboration, workplace security, and Digital Employee Experience.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Transformation

• Design end-to-end Modern Workplace architectures across collaboration, endpoints, identity, security, service desk, and field support.
• Define target-state architectures, transformation roadmaps, migration strategies, and transition plans.
• Establish architectural standards, governance frameworks, and reference designs.
• Provide technical oversight throughout design, implementation, migration, and service transition.

Microsoft 365 & Collaboration

• Architect enterprise solutions across Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange Online, Exchange on-premises, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Define collaboration and productivity strategies aligned with business requirements.
• Design integration between cloud and on-premises workplace services.

Endpoint & Device Management

• Design endpoint management solutions using Ivanti Unified Endpoint Management, including on-premises deployments.
• Define architectures for Windows 11 and Red Hat Linux endpoints, including dual-boot environments.
• Establish standards for device configuration, provisioning, patching, lifecycle management, and Group Policy.
• Integrate Microsoft Entra ID and device intelligence capabilities into the workplace architecture.
• Define service desk and field support models aligned with the endpoint estate.

Security & Compliance

• Embed Zero Trust principles across workplace services.
• Design identity and access controls using Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Identity Protection.
• Define endpoint security controls using Microsoft Defender and relevant security platforms.
• Align workplace designs with data protection and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Advisory & Solution Consulting

• Lead discovery workshops and assess workplace maturity.
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical architecture recommendations.
• Develop business cases and present transformation roadmaps to executive and technical stakeholders.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, and solution proposals, including service scope and sizing assumptions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to delivery teams.

Innovation & Automation

• Evaluate and drive adoption of Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for workplace automation and proactive remediation.
• Use workplace analytics, device intelligence, and Digital Employee Experience insights to improve service quality and employee productivity.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience designing and governing enterprise Modern Workplace solutions.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Exchange Online and on-premises.
• Hands‑on architecture experience with Ivanti Unified Endpoint Management and on‑premises endpoint management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Red Hat Linux, dual‑boot endpoint environments, and Group Policy.
• Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Microsoft Defender, and endpoint security.
• Experience delivering workplace transformation and migration programmes.
• Understanding of service desk and field support operating models.
• Experience with workplace analytics, device intelligence, automation, and Digital Employee Experience solutions.
• Ability to develop architecture documentation, business cases, roadmaps, and technical proposals.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and solution consulting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• TOGAF certification.
• Experience implementing Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled workplace solutions.
