Job summary

Client of Forsyth Barnes seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer in Dubai to build and sustain mobile automation for Android and iOS using Appium. You will design scalable frameworks in Java/Python, drive API testing, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and advocate automation best practices across the org. Strong coding and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience building mobile automation for Android/iOS.
• Proven ability to design maintainable automation frameworks.
• Strong coding in Java or Python and modular components.

Responsibilities

• Create and sustain robust mobile automation scripts for Android and iOS.
• Design scalable automation frameworks in Java or Python.
• Drive API test efforts across HTTP services with reliability and security focus.
• Embed automated tests into CI/CD workflows to accelerate feedback and deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine acceptance criteria and testability.
• Mentor junior QA and promote automation best practices across the organization.
• Experience with mobile UI automation testing using Appium or equivalent tools.
• Hands-on API testing including HTTP services; familiarity with gRPC is a plus.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD within Agile environments.
