The Role

As a Minibar Attendant, you will ensure that each guest’s in-room experience reflects the resort’s promise of thoughtful luxury. Your meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure every minibar is fully stocked, beautifully presented, and accurately charged. You will represent the essence of behind-the-scenes precision, combining efficiency with genuine care in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check, restock, and maintain minibars in all guestrooms daily according to par levels and brand standards.
  • Record consumption accurately and post minibar charges promptly through the POS system.
  • Inspect minibar items for quality, expiry dates, and presentation before replenishing.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in minibar storage areas, trolleys, and workstations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with the storeroom and purchasing teams.
  • Prepare daily minibar reports, reconcile variances, and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Handle guest inquiries or requests courteously and efficiently.
  • Report any damaged equipment, irregularities, or maintenance issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with resort and local regulations.
  • Support with periodic inventory counts and participate in stock rotation using FIFO principles.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Minibar or F&B operations within a 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with POS and inventory systems (Micros / Simphony / FMC).
  • Proficient in English; additional languages such as Arabic or Russian are an advantage.
  • Good understanding of hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP knowledge preferred).
  • Physically fit and able to handle lifting, moving, and restocking tasks safely.
  • Excellent grooming and a professional, discreet approach.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
