Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable Middleware Specialist with strong expertise in .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET) and the WSO2 integration stack, including API Gateway, Enterprise Integrator, and CIAM. The ideal candidate should not only be technically proficient but also possess the mindset and soft skills required of a high-quality support engineer to ensure operational excellence and end-to-end application integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain middleware components using WSO2 API Gateway, Enterprise Integrator, and CIAM.
- Develop and maintain APIs and middleware solutions following enterprise integration patterns and security standards.
- Build and support services using C# and VB.NET within the .NET Framework.
- Configure and manage WSO2 Identity Server for SSO, federated authentication, OAuth2, and SAML integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve middleware and integration issues across dev, test, and production environments.
- Monitor performance, perform root cause analysis, and apply continuous improvements to stability and availability.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and security teams to enable secure and scalable integration services.
- Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation and support knowledge base articles.
Required Technical Skills
- Proven experience in WSO2 API Gateway, Enterprise Integrator (ESB/Mediator), and CIAM/Identity Server
- Strong programming skills in .NET Framework, especially C# and VB.NET
- Good understanding of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevSecOps, containerization (e.g., Docker), and version control (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade performance monitoring and alerting tools
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in banking or financial services domain
- ITIL certification or familiarity with incident/change/problem management workflows
- Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations if needed
