Job summary

Transguard Workforce Solutions is recruiting an MI Analyst based in Dubai to deliver accurate management information and support performance decision-making across the Retail Business Banking Group. You'll develop and maintain recurring MI reports, dashboards and scorecards for various metrics; analyze data to identify trends and provide insights, ensure data integrity and automate reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Analytics, Statistics, CS, Finance or related field.
• Experience in MI, reporting or business analytics, preferably in retail or business banking.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint, with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Proficient in SQL and data extraction/reconciliation techniques.
• Experience creating dashboards and management reports for senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of retail and banking products, channels and data structures.
• Ability to translate requirements into user-friendly reporting and commentary.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MI reports per standards.
• Develop dashboards and scorecards for sales, revenue and performance.
• Consolidate data from systems, validate outputs, reconcile exceptions.

We are currently recruiting for an MI Analyst for our client to be based out of their Dubai office.

Job Purpose:

• Deliver accurate, timely and consistent management information to support performance management and decision-making across the Retail Business Banking Group.
• Develop, maintain and enhance recurring MI reports, dashboards and scorecards covering business, product, channel, portfolio and customer performance.
• Analyse data to identify trends, variances, risks and opportunities, and translate findings into clear insights for business stakeholders.
• Maintain strong data controls, reconciliation and reporting governance to ensure the integrity and reliability of management information.
• Automate and streamline reporting processes, improve data accessibility, and support planning, forecasting and management presentations across the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly and monthly management information reports in line with agreed timelines and reporting standards.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards for sales, revenue, profitability, portfolio, product, channel and customer performance.
• Consolidate data from relevant systems and business sources, validate outputs and reconcile exceptions before publication.
• Monitor performance against budgets, targets, key performance indicators and strategic initiatives, highlighting material variances and emerging trends.
• Perform drill-down and root-cause analysis to support management decisions and respond to ad hoc information requests.
• Maintain report definitions, data dictionaries, calculation logic and documented controls to ensure consistent interpretation of MI.
• Coordinate with Finance, Products, Distribution, Operations, Risk and Technology teams to resolve data issues and improve reporting quality.
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting workflows using appropriate data, visualization and productivity tools.
• Support planning, budgeting and forecasting exercises by providing historical trends, performance baselines and validated data.
• Prepare concise management presentations and commentary, ensuring that key insights, risks and recommended actions are clearly communicated.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in management information, reporting or business analytics, preferably within retail or business banking.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with practical experience in Power BI or equivalent reporting tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data extraction, transformation and reconciliation techniques.
• Experience preparing recurring dashboards, scorecards and management reports for senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of retail and business banking products, distribution channels, performance measures and data structures.
• Ability to translate business requirements into accurate, user-friendly reporting solutions and clear analytical commentary.
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently and collaboratively.
