Job summary

Workato in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a motivated Merchandiser to manage ordering, stocking and the display of merchandise in our retail store. You will ensure products are up to date and attractively showcased to drive customer engagement and sales.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, be highly organized and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Some experience with inventory and vendor relations is valued, and we welcome applicants with minimal work experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, product availability, and sales trends
• Develop displays that are attractive and designed to increase customer engagement with products
• Respond quickly to customer inquiries about merchandise availability
• Monitor competitors’ prices and product offerings to ensure our store remains competitive
• Source new products from vendors or distributors
• Manage vendor relations by negotiating prices, discounts, payment terms, etc.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to merchandising activities
