Job Description:
The Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring that all products are available in the right quantity, at the right time and place. Other duties include developing merchandise strategies in line with company objectives, analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes. The Merchandiser will also be responsible for identifying new product opportunities, monitoring stock levels at store level and ensuring that inventories are accurately maintained. Additionally, they will be required to develop promotional plans for products as well as train store staff on product knowledge.
