The ideal candidate has at least one year of merchandising experience, good communication and organizational skills, and a solid grasp of fashion trends to create appealing product displays. Responsibilities include optimizing displays, monitoring stock, assisting customers, pricing and labeling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1+ years of previous merchandising experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure goods are merchandised to maximize sales opportunities.
• Monitor stock levels and order fresh stock when necessary.
• Develop unique displays and attractive product presentations.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Ensure merchandise is priced and labelled correctly.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends in customer preferences.
• Assist with planning promotional activities and events.
• Assist with inventory tasks, such as cycle counts.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with store management on additional projects.
