Job summary

PricewaterhouseCoopers ME in Dubai is seeking a Risk Management Senior Associate to support regional risk initiatives, monitor auditing and reporting across global platforms, and ensure business readiness for new risk-related projects.

You will report to the Risk & Quality Manager and play a key role in driving risk governance and analytics within a leading professional services network.

Qualifications

  • A degree in accounting/finance or another related academic major.
  • About 4-6 years of professional experience.
  • Completion of a recognized professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACA or CPA is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills for a multicultural environment (including remote work).
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Be a first point of contact and proactively assist in risk management and compliance queries.
  • Monitor risk-related activities to ensure compliance with firm policies and risk protocols.
  • Conduct risk management monitoring and reporting across global platforms.
  • Identify and escalate anomalies or potential risk exposures in assigned projects.
  • Assist in engagement team readiness and project initiation for risk initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk programs smoothly.
  • Analyze large data sets to extract insights supporting decision making.
  • Maintain and update R&Q tools, templates, checklists and databases.

What is expected from you

Weareseekinga highly motivated anddetail orientedRisk Management Senior Associate. Thisrolewillsupport Regional Risk Management initiatives with a focus on monitoring auditing and reportingactivitiesacross global platforms. You will report to the Risk & Quality Managerand will play a key role in ensuring business readiness for newrisk relatedprojects.The roleoffers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team drive meaningful impact and grow professionally.As a R&QSeniorAssociatejob dutieswill include but will not be limited to:

  • Being a first point of contact andassistingproactively in the handling ofrisk managementandcompliancerelatedqueries.

  • Keeping up to date with local national business and economic issues and contribute to the thinking of the risk implications and implementation of risk mitigation measures as needed

  • Conductsrisk managementmonitoringrelatedactivitiesto ensurecompliance withfirmspolicies and risk protocols.

  • Identifying and escalatinganomoliesor potential risk exposuresin a timely mannerin the assigned projects.

  • Assistingin engagement team readiness activities for new risk management initiatives and projects.

  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of risk related programs.

  • Analysinglarge data sets to extract insights to support decision making.

  • Maintenance andupdatingof relevant R&Q tools templates checklistsdatabasesetc. that provide guidance and support to engagement teams.

  • Preparinganddeliveringperiodic reports and dashboardsleveraginginternal platforms and environments.

  • Developing a strong understanding of internal systems and tools used for risk management documentation

  • Providing support to arrange and to prepare related documents for the purpose of risk management training

  • Having pleasingpositiveand approachable attitude while engaging with internal stakeholders

  • Working effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

  • Encouraging involvement in digital initiatives and the use of transformation technologiesin order toensure compliance with our firms vision and enhance processes efficiency

  • Knowledge in any Audit technologies and experience using Data Analytics tools is a plus
