Job summary

A leading MEP contracting firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Technical Manager – MEP Contracting to oversee the design coordination and engineering delivery of large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and extensive experience in MEP systems, along with strong leadership and project management skills. Responsibilities include managing technical teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and liaising with clients and authorities. This role is essential for maintaining project quality and timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12‑15 years of experience in MEP contracting, with at least 5 years in a technical management role.
• Strong exposure to high‑rise, commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed‑use projects within the UAE/GCC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEP engineering design, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Lead design coordination meetings to resolve technical issues and optimize solutions.
• Manage the technical team, assigning responsibilities and ensuring timely deliverables.
• Review and approve value engineering proposals for cost-effective MEP solutions.
• Ensure MEP integration with architectural and structural works.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities for design submissions.
• Provide technical guidance during procurement and installation phases.
• Support project execution and resolve site technical issues.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical reports.
