About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and driven MEP BIM Lead to join our dynamic Building Services team. This role will be instrumental in leading the development and coordination of BIM deliverables across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring the highest quality of digital design delivery. The MEP BIM Lead will work closely with engineers, project managers, and digital design teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and public health systems into coordinated 3D models, supporting our commitment to innovation and excellence in design.

• Lead BIM delivery for MEP services across major building projects.
• Manage and develop BIM execution plans (BEP) and ensure compliance with client and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate MEP models with architectural, structural, and specialist disciplines to resolve spatial and technical clashes.
• Supervise the setup and maintenance of federated models, including model QA/QC and clash detection (using Navisworks or similar tools).
• Support the engineering team in developing coordinated design solutions within Revit and other relevant platforms.
• Maintain BIM libraries and standards in alignment with industry best practices (ISO 19650, COBie).
• Provide mentorship, training, and support to BIM technicians and junior engineers.
• Collaborate with the Digital Lead to drive innovation and efficiency in digital design workflows.
• Assist in resource planning and manage delivery timelines to ensure BIM deliverables are aligned with project milestones.
• Support project teams in client presentations, digital coordination meetings, and design reviews.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure drawings are delivered on time and within budget.

Skills & Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in a similar or relevant technical role.
• Previous experience in managing a team is desirable.
• Technical and organizational expertise.
• Excellent knowledge of GHD and client drafting standards.
• Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, BIM 360, and CDEs is essential.
• Skills in other BIM authoring technologies and cloud-based applications are also desired.
• Advanced technical skills in REVIT for complex modeling.
• Strong working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection.
• Technical capability of BIM LOD 350, with knowledge of 400 and 500.
• Experience in digital/big data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and programming.
• Experience in clash detection reporting, renderings, and presentations using Navisworks.
• Proven track record in coordinating and managing information models for large multidisciplinary projects.
• Understanding of professional consulting services with a client focus.
• Experience in training architecture, structures, and MEP teams in BIM/Revit.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Team player, cooperative, and open in sharing information and knowledge.
• Proactive in identifying improvements and enhancing output quality.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and coach others.
