Job summary

Stryker seeks a Regional Legal Counsel MENA to partner with the business across functions, shaping strategies and policies while ensuring regulatory compliance. As a member of the MENA Leadership Team, you will advise on contracts, governance, and major projects, balancing risk with business needs.

You will manage external counsel, lead cross-border initiatives, and mentor teams, with fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law required.
• Bar Association Qualification and licensed to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 10 years post-qualification legal experience in the MENA region.
• Experience in a multinational organization and/or a leading law firm."
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice and support to Stryker MENA businesses and stakeholders.
• Join the MENA Leadership Team and contribute to strategic decision-making and business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and other Centers of Excellence globally.
• Support and promote Stryker's compliance programs with the MENA Compliance Officer.
• Lead as the primary legal advisor for regional projects including data privacy and business transformation.
• Manage external counsel and budget for the MENA region.
