Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Transcription, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical transcription in healthcare setting.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical procedures.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe medical dictations including charts, notes, discharge summaries, operative reports, and diagnostic reports.
• Review and edit transcripts for accuracy, grammar, terminology, and formatting.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and confidentiality standards.
• Interpret medical terminology and abbreviations accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to clarify unclear dictations.
• Maintain efficient turnaround times while ensuring high-quality documentation.
