Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform routine laboratory tests in line with professional standards. You will handle chemistry, immunology, serology, haematology and related analyses, ensuring accurate results and contributing to safety initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in medical laboratory sciences and 3–5 years of full-time experience in clinical chemistry, with strong instrument maintenance and LIS reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory sciences or related field.
• 3–5 years full-time experience in clinical chemistry.
• Knowledge of laboratory QA/QC and instrument maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tests according to professional standards and guidelines.
• Monitor sample management and allocation based on testing requirements.
• Process tests across chemistry, immunology, serology, haematology, coagulation, blood transfusion and microscopy.
• Conduct analysis of body fluids and verify results for accuracy.
• Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and compliance.
