Job description

• Assist in the installation of cable trays conduits and support systems as per project specifications and layout plans.
• Support electricians in pulling routing and securing electrical cables and wires through cable trays and conduits.
• Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Handle and organize electrical tools materials and equipment onsite.
• Perform basic tasks such as measuring cutting and bending conduit and trays.
• Ensure the proper use and care of personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety standards and guidelines.
• Assist in troubleshooting and identifying issues related to electrical systems and tray installations.
• Load and unload materials and tools at construction sites as needed.
• Help with securing cable tray covers and maintaining organized systems for cable management.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work closely with the team to complete tasks on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years in a similar role preferably in oil and gas construction projects.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems tools and materials; familiarity with cable tray installation.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow instructions to ensure a safe work environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with electricians supervisors and other crew members.
• High school or relevant technical training is preferred.
