Be part of our Project Execution team as a Mechanical Installation Lead in Dubai, UAE.

What are my responsibilities?
  • Lead and coordinate all mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning activities for BHS/MHS systems at site.
  • Act as the mechanical site lead, ensuring works are executed safely, on time, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Lead by example in enforcing HSE standards and representing the company’s safety culture on site.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams to achieve project milestones.
  • Guide subcontractors in the preparation and implementation of method statements, risk assessments, and work permits.
  • Coordinate closely with Site Management, Engineering, Logistics, and Procurement teams to ensure efficient site execution and material flow.
  • Interpret and verify engineering drawings, specifications, and installation methods to ensure correct implementation.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve day-to-day site installation issues through effective coordination and troubleshooting.
  • Support commissioning and testing activities, including rectification and modification works as required.
  • Monitor installation progress and provide regular, accurate reporting to the Site Manager/Director and planning teams.
  • Ensure quality inspections, testing, and documentation are completed in line with company and client requirements.
  • Identify potential risks or improvement opportunities and coordinate corrective or preventive actions with engineering and site teams.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

What do I need to qualify for the role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar site-responsibility role, with at least 5 years working in comparable technical fields.
  • Proven experience in mechanical installation management within airport BHS, material handling, intralogistics, or industrial automation projects.
  • Strong understanding of international site execution, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and lead multidisciplinary site teams.
  • Solid technical knowledge of mechanical installation methods, drawings, specifications, and commissioning processes.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • High commitment to HSE standards and safe working practices.
  • Willingness to work in international project environments and travel as required.
