Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Piping Inspector. The role involves inspecting piping fabrication, controlling welding and insulation, and ensuring compliance with piping codes. Candidates should have 7 years of experience in piping inspection specifically in oil & gas projects. This is a contract position lasting 18 months, site-based in the UAE.

Qualifications

• 7 years of piping inspection experience on power or oil & gas projects.
• Good knowledge of ASME piping and welding standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect piping fabrication and erection for process and utility lines.
• Control welding NDT PWHT painting and insulation.
• Witness pressure tests and review test packages.
• Ensure compliance with isometrics P&IDs and piping codes.
