Key Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis (RCA) for various oilfield production, gathering, and processing facilities and systems. Develop and propose effective corrective actions.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on station equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, valves). Provide technical guidance and support to site technicians.
- Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive technical documentation for mechanical assets within assigned areas (pump stations, valve stations). This includes equipment manuals, asset registers, management procedures, and operation & maintenance (O&M) records.
- Conduct regular inventory checks for mechanical materials and spare parts. Raise purchase requisitions for spares and manage the tracking and status updating of the mechanical spare parts inventory.
- Strictly adhere to Project and Site QHSE policies, standards, and safe work procedures. Participate actively in emergency response activities within the role's scope.
- Conduct HSE risk identification, assessment, and implement control measures for all mechanical activities within the area of responsibility.
- Ensure the correct use of all job-related tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify workplace hazards and implement appropriate risk control measures as per the company's risk management process.
- Report all production safety incidents and near-misses within the role's scope promptly and accurately. Implement required corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform regular inspections of mechanical work sites and facility equipment to identify potential hazards, ensure all safety protections and devices are functional and reliable.
- Proactively identify equipment operational anomalies, failures, and potential risks.
- Verify the availability, condition, and reliability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Skills
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment (e.g., centrifugal pumps, gas turbines, diesel engines) principles and maintenance. Proven experience in leading maintenance teams and developing maintenance strategies and schedules.
- Solid understanding and hands‑on maintenance experience with static equipment, including valves, pressure vessels, and piping systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the oil and gas industry, with on‑site experience highly preferred.
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is mandatory, with the ability to effectively communicate, write technical emails, and prepare reports.
