Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CAD software preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and evaluate mechanical components, equipment or systems.
• Analyze customer needs, develop designs to meet those needs, and review finished products.
• Perform maintenance on existing equipment or systems to ensure they are working optimally.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems or malfunctions and take necessary corrective action.
• Develop plans for the implementation of new designs or processes into existing production systems.
• Monitor raw materials inventory levels and order new materials when needed.
• Collaborate with other engineers to research solutions for mechanical problems.
