Job summary

Johnson Controls in the UAE seeks a Mechanical Design Manager for mCUP projects, overseeing packaging, chiller plants, pumping and piping modules. You will guide concept through detailed engineering, vendor coordination, and site support to ensure production-ready deliverables.

You will lead cross-functional teams across multiple facilities, perform hydraulic calculations, review P&IDs, and ensure design integrity while supporting sales, estimation and project delivery with technical inputs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience with district cooling or modular central utility plants is highly preferred.
• Ability to coordinate engineering deliverables across multiple facilities and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities for mCUP systems and related infrastructure.
• Review customer tender documents and translate into design deliverables (P&IDs, layouts, specs).
• Develop and maintain mechanical layouts, piping drawings, and equipment interfaces.
• Coordinate with sales, estimation, procurement, and site teams to ensure timely project delivery.
