Responsibilities

• Carrying out research and development work to produce new designs and modifications to existing designs
• Evaluating the safety risks and financial implications of specific projects.
• Preparing feasibility and cost reports.
• Developing technical drawings, specifications, bills of materials, test plans and protocols.
• Operating computer aided design (CAD) terminals and performing analysis of design projects.
• Working closely with production teams to ensure design accuracy and test effectiveness.
