Job summary

Abroad Work is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems, and create CAD drawings.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, knowledge of strength of materials, thermodynamics, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Immigrant candidates are welcome to apply; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of strength of materials, thermodynamics, kinematics, dynamics.
• Working knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Experience designing and developing mechanical components is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing mechanical components, systems, and machinery
• Performing calculations to ensure the accuracy of designs
• Troubleshooting existing components and making modifications as needed
• Testing prototypes or completed products for functionality and performance
• Creating technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Analyzing data from tests or simulations to identify potential issues with designs or processes
