At our Dubai MRO Center we are specialists in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft systems. As part of our planned continued expansion, we require experienced individuals who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with customers. An opportunity has arisen for a Materials Planner - Supervisor to lead a dynamic provisioning team within the MRO.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Identifies improvement opportunities to optimize inventory levels.
  • Develops inventory forecast estimates for annual operating plan, latest estimates and pulses using an input/output model.
  • Manages the procurement of inventory to support operations.
  • Manages non-inventory procurement to support the site.
  • Close interaction with Finance, Engineering and Operations to put in place projects and initiatives to help improve inventory levels.
  • Lead organization toward attainment (monthly and annually) of key inventory performance metrics such as inventory turns, inventory value by controlling and influencing its parts: in-transits, raw materials, consumables.
  • Inventory subject matter expert on inventory planning and control.
  • Provide inventory updates, status, analysis, reports, and any other information (as needed).
  • Ensure any excess or left-over inventory, due to engineering changes, shifts in demands and strategic buys are adequately managed.
  • Provides directions, expectation, objectives/goals to the materials planning team according to and in alignment with RTX and Collins Aerospace Goal Alignment process.
  • Administer performance feedback, development plan, performance review, merit increases, hiring, training and all other people related processes.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, operations, or related field and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP
  • Leadership ability to conduct Lean, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement events
