Job summary

Qualifications

• 4 years’ experience in material planner / Inventory control.
• 3 years’ experience in material planner / Inventory control.
• High School and Diploma in Material Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stock replenishment for main store and satellites based on MIN/MAX, MRP, SDV and TV.
• Evaluate SRL content to determine replenishment requirements and adjust stock levels.
• Prepare PRs, normal POs and long-term contracts; issue calls of order based on SRL and SDV.
• Assess stock groups to identify below/above min/max levels and adjust accordingly.
• Transfer materials to satellite stores via Transfer Voucher.
• Coordinate with Procurement on outstanding POs, PRs and supplier calls.
• Optimize stock value and number of line items; monitor non-moving items.
• Track inventory levels and adjust per current market conditions.

Job description

Job Title: Material Inventory Controller

To maintain optimum stock to meet end user requirements in a timely manner and at an optimum inventory value.

Using Inventory ordering and replenishment procedures and policies to achieve the optimization of the Inventory stock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall Stock Replenishment for main store and satellite warehouses based on MIN/MAX, MRP (Material Requirement Plan), SDV (Stores Demand Voucher ) and TV ( Transfer voucher )
• SRL (Stores Replenishment List) content evaluation for determining replenishment requirement and necessary stock level adjustments for min/max levels
• Prepare PR, normal PO and contract long term agreements, Call of order based on SRL and SDV
• Evaluating Stock items groups to determine stocks below and above min/max levels and taking the right actions to adjust the levels and eliminate the ordering shortcomings
• Transfer of material required to satellite stores thru Transfer Voucher
• Follow-up on outstanding/delay/pending issues (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, call of orders) with Procurement department/expediter and suppliers
• Optimization of stock value and number of line items
• Evaluation of Non-moving items
• Tracking the monitoring inventory levels and adjusting in accordance with current market conditions
• Stock adjustments to correct stocktaking discrepancies
• Preparing statistical and status reports
• Supporting internal and external Audit with documentation and all their requirements to conduct their audits
• Stock-Taking carried out throughout the year to cover all groups
• Sending SRLs to end users for periodical evaluation and stock adjustments

Experience Required:

• High School with 4 Years’ experience in relevant role (material planner / Inventory control).
• High school & Diploma in Material Management with 3 years’ experience in relevant role (material planner / Inventory control).
