Want More in Sharjah is seeking a Material Handling Specialist to move materials safely and efficiently throughout our facility. The role requires operating forklifts and handling equipment, receiving goods, and organizing inventory.

Qualifications

Material Handling Specialist

Our company in Sharjah is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Material Handling Specialist to join our team. As a Material Handling Specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely moving materials throughout our facility. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials within the facility
• Load and unload trucks and containers using proper material handling techniques
• Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy of shipments
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
• Prepare materials for shipment by packing, labeling, and securing items as needed
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and productivity in material handling processes

Requirements

• Canadian nationality preferred; other nationalities welcome to apply
• Ability to communicate in English is preferred but not required
• Prior experience in material handling preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing ladders
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Valid forklift certification is an asset
