Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain inventory of firefighting equipment and materials, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient storage.
• Coordinate with project managers and field teams to procure necessary materials, optimizing delivery schedules and minimizing delays.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and other procurement documents, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
• Liaise with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality firefighting components.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Monitor material usage and consumption, identifying trends and recommending strategies to reduce waste and optimize resource allocation.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality and conformance to specifications, rejecting substandard items and coordinating returns.
• Maintain detailed records of material transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns, for accurate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures in the handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize shipping and receiving processes, minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
