Job Requirements

• Valid Master’s CoC (Certificate of Competency)
• Minimum 24 months experience as Master on crew boats or similar offshore vessels
• Strong knowledge of offshore operations and DP awareness (preferred)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Seaman’s book and offshore medical (OGUK / PEME)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Required Skills & Experience

• Valid Master’s CoC (Certificate of Competency) Near Coastal or Unlimited
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Master on crew boats (offshore)
• Excellent knowledge of COLREGs, SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISM Code
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in offshore operations and dynamic positioning (if applicable)
• DP Certification (if vessel is DP‑equipped) – Preferred
• Offshore experience in the Middle East/Gulf region
• Valid STCW Certificates, Medical (ENG1 or equivalent), Passport, and Seaman Book

Education

• Certificate of Competency (CoC): STCW Master (II/2) Near Coastal or Unlimited
• STCW Mandatory Courses (Valid & Up‑to‑date): Basic Safety Training (BST), Advanced Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid, Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB), GMDSS (for communication operations)
• Minimum Sea‑Time Experience: At least 24 months as Master or Chief Officer on offshore crew/supply boats
• Other Requirements: Valid Passport, Valid Seaman Book, Valid Medical Fitness Certificate, etc.
