Role Purpose
Deliver professional therapeutic and relaxation massage services including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy and sports massages while ensuring client comfort, wellness and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Massage Services
- Perform various types of massages including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, Thai reflexology and sports massage.
- Assess client needs through consultation and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Apply proper pressure techniques and stretches based on client requirements and comfort levels.
- Use oils, lotions and aromatherapy products safely and effectively.
- Provide pre‑ and post‑natal massage services when certified.
- Ensure proper body mechanics and technique to prevent injury.
Client Care & Consultation
- Conduct thorough consultations to understand client health history, concerns and preferences.
- Explain treatment benefits, techniques and aftercare instructions.
- Create customized treatment plans based on individual client needs.
- Maintain detailed and confidential client records.
- Build long‑term relationships through exceptional service and professionalism.
Hygiene & Safety
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards for treatment rooms, linens and equipment.
- Follow health and safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Sterilize tools and equipment after each use.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized and inviting.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of massage oils, lotions, towels and supplies.
Professional Development
- Stay updated on new massage techniques, wellness trends and industry best practices.
- Attend training sessions, workshops and certification programs.
- Continuously improve skills in specialized massage modalities.
Requirements
- Certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid massage therapy license (if required by UAE regulations).
- 2–5 years of professional massage therapy experience.
- Expertise in multiple massage techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, sports massage).
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology and muscle groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform massages throughout the day.
- Professional demeanor with strong client service orientation.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
