Job summary

ABC Motors in Abu-Dhabi is seeking an experienced Mason to join our team. We are looking for candidates with proven masonry experience and the ability to read blueprints and work safely.

Location is Abu-Dhabi and salary is 1600 AED per month. We are open to considering a foreigner for this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mason or similar role.
• Knowledge of building materials, methods and techniques.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to work with stone, brick, tiles, marble, concrete blocks and other materials.
• Knowledge of occupational safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Constructing masonry structures according to specifications.
• Laying bricks, blocks or stone in mortar beds or dry stack patterns around windows and door frames, roofs, walls etc.
• Cutting bricks and blocks using power saws or hand tools.
• Mixing mortar or grout for use in installation or repair tasks.
• Ensuring the quality of the work meets the required standards.
• Following safety guidelines when performing tasks.
• Cleaning up job sites when finished.
