The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring brick structures such as walkways, walls, patios, and other structures. They will need to be knowledgeable in mixing mortar, creating patterns with brick, and understanding of different types of brick work. In addition to the actual Mason duties the candidate should also be able to read blueprints or plans for the construction project as well as assist other workers on the project site such as laborers or carpenters.

The ideal candidate for this position should have good physical fitness and manual dexterity in order to perform the duties of a Mason. They should also have good communication skills to follow instructions from supervisors as well as be able to work independently when needed.
