Marketplace Manager eCommerce

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketplace Manager to lead and grow our presence across online marketplaces in the luxury retail sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with third‑party platforms (e.g. Amazon, Noon, Farfetch) ensuring product visibility, optimizing listings, driving revenue growth and aligning the marketplace strategy with the overall eCommerce objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketplace Strategy & Management:
- Develop and execute marketplace expansion and growth strategies.
- Manage onboarding, pricing, catalog upload and compliance across marketplaces.
- Ensure alignment with the brand’s luxury positioning across all platforms.
- Product & Content Management:
- Oversee listing creation, optimization and updates including imagery, descriptions and metadata to ensure brand consistency.
- Work closely with content merchandising and marketing teams to maintain high‑quality product presentation.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Track key metrics (sales, traffic, conversion rate, ROAS, etc.).
- Perform regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy, competitive pricing and promotional effectiveness.
- Analyze data and customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities.
- Vendor/Platform Liaison:
- Act as the main point of contact for marketplace partners.
- Negotiate terms, fees and support services when necessary.
- Operational Coordination:
- Collaborate with supply chain, finance and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor fulfillment SLAs and coordinate issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in marketplace management, preferably in the luxury fashion or lifestyle retail sector.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and UAE/GCC marketplace landscape.
- Experience with tools such as Shopify, Magento, ChannelAdvisor or similar is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is a must.
