Job summary

Uplift People Consulting is partnering with a newly established UAE marketplace startup to help build their founding leadership team. This role focuses on owning the end-to-end transaction engine of the platform, spanning checkout, delivery, payments, and support, with an emphasis on SLAs and scalable processes.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across product, tech, finance and legal to shape how the business, product and customer experience are built from the ground up,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of marketplace experience in high daily transaction platforms.
• Strong delivery and logistics understanding with an analytical mindset.
• Hands-on, detail-obsessed and comfortable building from zero.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, tech, finance, partners and legal.
• Arabic language skills and UAE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end transaction engine of the marketplace, from checkout to payouts and customer support.
• Define and improve payment workflows, settlements, and SLA achievement with scalable operating models.
• Oversee delivery/logistics, partner SLAs, exception handling and returns processes.
• Develop SOPs, dashboards, and reporting for SLA, refund, payout accuracy and dispute turnaround.
• Create partner scorecards and lead weekly performance rhythm with root-cause actions.
