Overview
Job Summary : We are looking for a creative, strategic, and data-driven Marketing Manager to lead our social media and digital content efforts across platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, fan engagement, and storytelling, with a proven ability to grow audiences, drive engagement, and convert digital efforts into brand value and revenue. You will oversee the planning, creation, publishing, and analysis of content across social media channels, working closely with creative, commercial, and sponsorship teams to enhance the brand's visibility and deepen fan relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X / Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Manage the daily content calendar and publishing schedule.
- Monitor trends, live events, matches, and real-time opportunities for content creation and fan engagement.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, designers, and editors to deliver high-quality content.
- Develop digital campaigns that align with broader marketing and sponsorship strategies.
- Work with athletes, influencers, partners, and fans to generate and share engaging content.
- Ensure brand tone, visuals, and messaging remain consistent across all channels.
- Track KPIs (engagement, reach, follower growth, conversion rates) and report performance weekly / monthly.
- Use analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, etc.) to optimize content and improve ROI.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and fanbase behavior analysis.
- Support the activation of sponsorship campaigns through social channels and content.
- Collaborate with commercial and partnership teams to ensure digital commitments are met and leveraged.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in social media management, preferably within the sports, entertainment, or events industry.
- Strong knowledge of platform-specific best practices and algorithms.
- Experience with video and graphic content planning for social media.
- Proficiency in content tools Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social tools Hootsuite, Later, and analytics (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of digital fan behavior and trends in sports content.
