About the role

You will lead market access activities across the Gulf region with a focus on public/tender systems. Working collaboratively with country teams, Government Affairs, Medical, HEOR and Commercial colleagues, you will shape market access and launch‑readiness strategies that support patient access. This role offers visible impact across multiple markets and development opportunities within a global pharmaceutical organization.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and lead market access and launch‑readiness strategies for public/tender sectors across Gulf countries.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with public health authorities, payers and other key external stakeholders to support reimbursement and formulary processes.
  • Prepare payer‑facing value materials, reimbursement dossiers and evidence packages in collaboration with Medical, HEOR and Commercial teams, ensuring materials comply with applicable regulations and internal review processes.
  • Monitor policy, pricing and reimbursement trends across the region and translate insights into actionable plans, including risk mitigation and escalation where required.
  • Support Government Affairs partnership agendas and represent the company in relevant external forums and tender processes, adhering to applicable laws, codes and company policies.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment, capability building and consistent execution across local teams.
What you’ll bring (basic qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in health, pharmacy, life sciences, economics, business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years’ pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 3 years in market access within the Gulf region.
  • Strong knowledge of public/tender reimbursement systems and payer environments in Gulf countries.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and experience engaging senior policymakers and payers.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Ability and right to travel for work across Gulf markets.
Desirable (preferred) experience
  • Master’s degree in health economics, public health, pharmacy, business or similar.
  • Direct experience with vaccine or specialty portfolio market access strategies.
  • Experience preparing health economic models, budget impact analyses or other HEOR deliverables.
  • Prior experience working with government tender processes and public procurement systems.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful reimbursement approvals or formulary inclusions in the Gulf.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross‑functional launch teams.
Working arrangements

This is a hybrid role based in the UAE with regular travel across Gulf markets. Specific working pattern will be agreed with your manager in line with local policy.
