Job summary

Showcify, Inc. in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Energy Management Engineer to develop and oversee the Energy Management System for ocean-going fleets aligned with ADNOC guidelines and international standards.

You will lead energy optimization efforts, perform audits, and ensure IMO/EU MRV compliance while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with regulators, suppliers, and technology partners to improve fleet efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in energy management with significant maritime industry experience.
• Strong English communication; expertise in energy systems and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze hull and propeller performance from data from logging units or noon reports.
• Monitor non-propulsion energy use and boiler operations with accurate energy tracking.
• Publish daily and monthly energy performance reports across significant energy-using assets.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and ensure adherence to best energy practices.
• Oversee energy efficiency projects with timely benefits and actions.
• Develop and maintain the Energy Management System to comply with international standards.
